Gap's Crown is the vineyard that changed everything. A high-scoring Pinot Noir from this Sonoma Coast site generated more demand than the allocation could support, and access was gone the following year. Rather than accept that, Alex Guarachi went looking for land of his own — which is how Sun Chase Vineyard came to be. The 2014 Gap's Crown is a piece of that founding chapter, now over a decade in our library and showing beautifully.

Tasting Notes: Dark cherry, cola, and a hint of vanilla with oak-kissed spice. Full-bodied with firm tannins and a bright, mouthwatering acidity that has kept this wine fresh and lively.

Pairs well with: Roasted pork, charcuterie, gruyère.
