Shipping policy

Where We Ship

Guarachi Family Wines ships directly to consumers in the following states where we hold active direct-to-consumer wine shipping permits. We update this list as permits are obtained or regulations change. If your state is not listed, we are unable to ship to you at this time.

Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, DC, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Texas, Virginia, and Washington.

We are unable to ship to states where direct-to-consumer wine shipment is prohibited by law.

Age Verification

All orders require age verification at the time of purchase. By placing an order, you confirm that you are 21 years of age or older. A valid government-issued photo ID proving age (21+) will be required upon delivery. We are required by law to verify the age of the recipient at the time of delivery.

Adult signature is required on all wine shipments. Wine cannot be left at the door. Please ensure someone 21 or older is available to sign for the package.

Carriers

We ship via UPS. The carrier is licensed to ship wine and require adult signature confirmation at delivery. If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful, the carrier will make up to three attempts. After three failed attempts, your package will be returned to us and a restocking fee may apply.

Shipping Rates

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the number of bottles and your delivery location. Wine is fragile and heavy — we use professional wine shippers to ensure your bottles arrive safely.

Transit Times

Estimated transit times vary by destination. Orders are typically processed and shipped within 2–3 business days of purchase. Once shipped, estimated delivery windows are:

  • California: 2–3 business days
  • West Coast: 3–4 business days
  • Midwest / East Coast: 4–6 business days
  • Remote locations: 6–8 business days

Transit times are estimates only and not guaranteed. Delays may occur during peak seasons or due to weather.


Temperature Holds

Wine is sensitive to extreme heat. During summer months or periods of extreme weather, we may hold your shipment to avoid heat damage. We will contact you in advance if a hold is necessary. You may also request a hold at any time by emailing us at info@guarachifamilywines.com.

You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order ships.
