The Heritage Pinot Noir begins the same way every year: Julian Gonzales identifies the single best-performing block at Sun Chase Vineyard on the Sonoma Coast, where elevation, wind exposure, and soil converge to produce fruit of exceptional concentration and complexity. Only those grapes make the cut.

At 1,400 feet above the Petaluma Gap, strong Pacific winds stress the vines throughout the growing season — producing small, thick-skinned berry clusters with deep color and remarkable intensity. The Heritage bottling captures the very peak of what this extraordinary site can achieve.

Tasting Notes: Dark cherry, wild strawberry, dried roses, forest floor, and clove with silky, layered tannins and a long, haunting finish.

Pairs well with: Duck confit, mushroom risotto, lamb, aged goat cheese.

For maximum enjoyment: Allow the wine to breathe for at least 30 minutes, decant, and cool until 58 degrees Fahrenheit
